Job description
A well-established defense firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their team as a remote employee. We operate in PA, NJ and NY, so having dual licenses is preferred but not required. This Associate would have experience handling labor and employment and general liability matters. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex litigation cases while benefiting from a collaborative and supportive legal team.

Competitive base salary, commensurate with experience
Discretionary bonus pool, plus hours-based bonus for hours billed over 1,900

Qualifications:
Experience in labor and employment and/or general liability litigation
Strong general litigation skills, including depositions and discovery
Active PA, NJ, or NY Bar license in good standing
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
Responsibilities:
Managing a caseload of defense litigation matters across labor and employment and general liability
Conducting depositions, legal research, and drafting motions and pleadings
Representing clients in court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations
Developing case strategies and advising clients on risk assessment
Collaborating with partners and senior attorneys on complex legal matters
