Title: Quality Metrology Technician
Location: Sallisaw, OK (74955)
Pay: $22-$27/Hr

We are partnering with a growing manufacturing organization that produces precision-engineered components for industrial customers. This position offers the opportunity to work within a highly technical quality environment supporting metrology, dimensional inspection, calibration control, and advanced testing processes while ensuring products meet engineering and customer specifications.

What You Will Be Doing

• Perform dimensional inspections on parts and products using precision measuring equipment.
• Conduct first-piece, in-process, final, and incoming inspections to verify product quality.
• Operate and support metrology and testing equipment including CMMs, X-ray systems, spectrometers, and cleanliness testing equipment.
• Maintain gauge control systems, calibration records, and measurement device inventories.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, control plans, and work instructions.
• Document inspection results, identify nonconforming products, and communicate findings to Quality and Production teams.

What You Need For This Job

• Experience in manufacturing, quality, inspection, metrology, or a related environment preferred.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pin gauges, and other inspection tools.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record inspection results.
• Basic computer skills and ability to work independently after training.

Nice To Have

• Experience with CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines).
• Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Experience with X-ray inspection, spectrometers, or cleanliness testing equipment.
• Experience with gauge calibration and measurement system control.
• Automotive, die casting, machining, or metal manufacturing experience.
• Technical education in manufacturing, machining, quality, or metrology

$22 - $27 USD per hour
