This role partners with marketing, product, legal, and executive teams to drive proactive campaigns, reactive responses, and internal communications while ensuring regulatory and compliance requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities

- Plan, assemble, and distribute press kits and media materials; coordinate logistics for press briefings, media tours, and newsroom visits.
- Lead crisis communications planning and execution, including drafting holding statements, coordinating spokespeople, preparing Q&A, and managing rapid response across channels.
- Monitor media coverage and social conversation using media monitoring and social listening tools; produce regular reports and insights to measure impact and guide strategy.
- Manage social media channels in coordination with marketing: develop content calendars, adapt earned content for social, and oversee community response when appropriate.
- Develop content strategy and create high-quality copy and storytelling assets for press, web, social, and internal stakeholders, including speeches and executive talking points.
- Conduct media training and broadcast interview preparation for executives and spokespeople; provide coaching on messaging, delivery, and handling tough questions.
- Drive influencer and partner outreach programs, identify alignment opportunities, and manage relationships to amplify campaigns.
- Plan and execute events and experiential PR programs, from media previews and product launches to roundtables and conferences.
- Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure communications meet regulatory requirements and industry guidelines.
- Use PR platforms (Cision, Muck Rack, Meltwater) and email marketing tools (Mailchimp) to manage campaigns, track placements, and distribute releases.
- Create and manage press multimedia assets in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) and coordinate video production/editing for multimedia storytelling.
- Integrate measurement and reporting best practices: set KPIs, use Google Analytics and PR platform metrics, and deliver actionable weekly and monthly reports.
- Maintain and evolve brand messaging and internal communications to keep employees informed and aligned.
- Coordinate with CRM (Salesforce) and CMS teams to ensure earned coverage is captured in pipelines, and PR activities are tracked as part of broader marketing efforts.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, keeping stakeholders informed of timelines, budgets, and outcomes.

- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) and basic video production/editing workflows.
- Strong interpersonal skills, confidence pitching media, and proven ability to work cross-functionally with legal, product, and executive teams.
