40-year-old multi-division heavy civil contractor serving the Chicagoland area, southern Wisconsin, and northeast Indiana. We self-perform underground utilities, site development, heavy highway, and civil electrical work for national builders, municipalities, IDOT, and the Illinois Tollway Authority. Strong backlog, loyal client base, and a fleet of 100+ pieces of equipment to back you up.

We need an experienced Project Manager with a heavy civil and civil electrical background to own projects from kickoff to closeout.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Lead heavy civil and electrical infrastructure projects end-to-end
- Manage crews, subcontractors, schedules, and budgets across active job sites
- Serve as the primary client contact for municipalities, agencies, and private developers
- Ensure work is executed to plans, permits, and contract requirements
- Maintain safety and quality standards in the field


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- 5+ years of heavy civil construction PM experience
- Civil electrical background -- duct bank, site electrical, conduit, or utility-scale work
- Experience on public agency projects (IDOT, municipal, tollway) a strong plus
- Solid budget and schedule management skills
- OSHA 30 preferred
