Project Manager - Corporate Interiors (Construction)
Position Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Project Manager to lead construction and interior build-out projects across corporate, commercial, and industrial environments. The role is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the clients quality and safety standards while coordinating cross-functional teams and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project delivery for construction and interior fit-out projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and closeout.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions to meet milestones and deadlines.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, track costs, approve expenditures, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, design teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and quality workmanship.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, ensure compliance with specifications, and enforce health and safety standards.
- Manage change orders, resolve on-site issues, and communicate impacts to scope, schedule, and budget to clients and stakeholders.
- Prepare and present project reports, status updates, and forecasts to leadership and clients.
- Ensure projects comply with building codes, regulations, and company quality and safety policies.
- Facilitate client meetings, manage expectations, and build strong client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
- Mentor and develop junior project staff, promoting best practices in project management and construction delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
- 5+ years of project management experience in construction, corporate interior fit-outs, commercial, or industrial interior projects.
- Proven track record managing multi-million dollar projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, building codes, and interior systems.
- Excellent scheduling and budget management skills; proficient with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Procore).
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing subcontractors.
- Familiarity with CAD, Revit, and construction documentation is a plus.
- Relevant certifications encouraged: PMP, CCM, LEED, OSHA 30 or equivalent safety training.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
