Project Manager - Commercial Construction

Commercial Construction Location: Milwaukee, WI Compensation: $120,000 - $160,000 Base Salary + Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits

A leading, nationally recognized General Contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its growing Milwaukee team. This organization has a strong reputation for delivering complex commercial projects and offers long-term stability, career advancement, and a collaborative culture built around excellence in construction.

The company maintains a diverse portfolio of commercial projects including office, healthcare, education, industrial, retail, hospitality, mixed-use, and other large-scale developments throughout the region.

Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and contract administration
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and field operations teams
  • Review and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
  • Monitor project costs, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Ensure project milestones, quality standards, and client expectations are achieved
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining schedule and budget objectives
  • Support project buyout, procurement, and closeout activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience with a General Contractor
  • Proven experience managing commercial construction projects
  • Strong understanding of scheduling, budgeting, contracts, and cost control
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar construction software is preferred
