Commercial Construction Location: Tampa, FL Compensation: $120,000 - $160,000 Base Salary + Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits
A well-established and growing General Contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its Tampa team. With a strong backlog of work and a diverse portfolio of projects throughout Florida, this is an excellent opportunity to join a company known for delivering high-quality commercial construction projects while providing long-term career growth.
Projects include commercial, retail, office, mixed-use, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, and institutional construction across the Tampa Bay region and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and owner relationships
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and field operations teams
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- Track project costs, forecasting, and financial performance
- Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication among stakeholders
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards
- Support procurement, buyout, and project closeout activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of Project Management experience with a General Contractor
- Experience managing commercial construction projects from start to finish
- Strong knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, contracts, and cost control
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software
