Job Salary: Up to $95k DOE
Requirements: 4+ years of production leadership experience in food manufacturing
Who We Are
We are a premier, mission-driven food manufacturing organization dedicated to nourishing communities across California. We operate with a "business for good" mindset, focusing on social responsibility and high-quality nutrition rather than just the bottom line. We are a stable, high-growth leader in the fresh-prepared meal space, currently producing over 35 million nutritious meals annually for schools and community programs.
We've grown fast, and now we need a hands-on leader to help us level up. We are looking for a motivated Production Supervisor to implement the systems and structure needed to keep us moving forward. You'll have the autonomy to make real changes and the full support of leadership to execute your vision. For a leader who can drive efficiency and build better processes, this role offers a path to very quick advancement. At our company, your ideas matter, your hard work pays off, and your growth is our priority.
What You Will Do
Lead the Frontline: Supervise daily production activities on the 1st shift to ensure all meal assembly and packaging goals are met safely and on time.
Drive Quality & Safety: Enforce strict adherence to GMP, HACCP, and SQF standards to guarantee the highest level of food safety for our community partners.
Develop Your Team: Manage and mentor a diverse workforce, handling scheduling, training, and performance to foster a culture of accountability and respect.
Optimize Operations: Monitor production lines to reduce waste, improve yields, and troubleshoot any mechanical or workflow bottlenecks as they arise.
Report Results: Maintain accurate production logs, inventory records, and safety documentation to ensure the facility remains audit-ready at all times.
What You Need for This Job
Experience: 3+ years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment.
Background: Strong knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP, GMPs, and FSMA).
Leadership: Proven ability to lead, de-escalate conflict, and motivate a large blue-collar workforce.
Communication: Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred to effectively lead our team.
Reliability: Ability to work the 3rd shift (1am - 9:30am) and stand/walk in a chilled food production environment for the duration of the shift.
Bonus points if you have experience in Ready-to-Eat (RTE) or high-volume prepared foods and a ServSafe certification
