Job Overview
We are seeking a bilingual Night Shift Production Supervisor to oversee overnight production operations and lead a diverse team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring production goals are met safely and efficiently, maintaining quality standards, coordinating workflow, and supporting employee development while driving continuous improvement across the operation.
Schedule
6PM-6AM on a rotating 12hr schedule (2-2-3)
Wk 1 -Mon /Tues work, Wed/Thurs off, Fri/Sat/Sun work.
Wk 2 -Mon/Tues off, Wed/Thurs work, Fri/Sat/Sun off.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise night shift production employees to ensure daily production goals are achieved.
- Coordinate workflow and staffing to maintain efficient operations throughout the shift.
- Communicate clearly in both English and Spanish to provide direction, training, and support to team members.
- Monitor production activities and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Partner with Quality, Maintenance, and other departments to support smooth plant operations.
- Train, coach, and develop employees while promoting accountability and teamwork.
- Conduct team meetings, provide performance feedback, and assist with employee evaluations.
- Investigate and address operational issues to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Maintain accurate production records and provide shift reports to management.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and recommend process enhancements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; additional education is a plus.
- Previous experience in a production leadership, supervisor, or team lead role within a manufacturing environment.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Ability to work overnight shifts and effectively manage production teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement programs.
- Familiarity with production reporting systems and operational data tracking.
- Previous experience supervising a bilingual workforce.
- OSHA training or other workplace safety certifications.
