Job description

Production Supervisor - 2nd shift

Job Location/Shift: Mon - Fri, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, onsite in Mira Loma, CA

Job Salary: $70,304 - $75,000 USD

Requirements: 3+ years of progressive production supervision experience in a high-volume food manufacturing environment

Who We Are

In less than fifteen years of operation, we have quickly risen to prominence as a leading manufacturer of Mexican food products and baked goods!

Our company was founded by ex-executives from Mission Foods, and our executive leadership team includes top-level leaders from food and beverage giants like Mission Foods, Del Real Foods, Starbucks, and Walmart!

Over the last four years, we have steadily grown from a regional player into a national player and seen our revenue grow from $60M to just over $100M in that time span. Our two plants currently house nearly 500 employees running 24/6 baking, flour products and corn products lines.

We believe every shift is a chance to win. We are a fast-growing team making top-quality food for major retail stores and restaurants. We are expanding quickly, and we are looking for hardworking, hands-on leaders who want to build a solid career with a team that values hard work and gets things done every day.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on leadership role running our 2nd shift. You won't be stuck behind a desk-you will be out on the floor leading your team, keeping production running smoothly, and making sure safety and quality standards are met during one of our busiest times of the day.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the Floor & Drive Output: Manage shift lines, track attendance, report line status, and push for everyday improvements in how the team works.

  • Keep People Safe: Enforce all safety rules, proper safety gear (PPE), lockout/tagout (LOTO), and OSHA/FDA guidelines.

  • Handle Quality & Inventory: Work with QA on product holds, check raw material and packaging stock, and log finished goods into NetSuite.

  • Train & Communicate: Run daily shift meetings, follow the training schedule, keep other departments updated, and make sure everyone gets their proper breaks.

  • Keep the Plant Clean & Organized: Maintain a safe, clean work area and handle daily tasks as needed to keep the plant running right.

What You Need for This Job

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience supervising production teams in a food plant. Experience making snacks, chips, or tortillas is a big plus.

  • Work History: A proven track record of stable, reliable job tenure

  • Continuous Improvement: Good practical knowledge of Lean basics like 5S, keeping the floor organized, and cutting down waste.

  • Hands-On Style: A lead-by-example attitude who loves being out on the floor driving results, supporting the crew, and making things happen.

  • Language: Bilingual English/Spanish skills are strongly preferred

Benefits

  • Medical/Dental/Vision
  • 4% 401 (k) match
  • 2 weeks of PTO
  • Life Insurance
