We're partnering with an innovative consumer technology company developing next-generation connected and wearable products. We're seeking a Power & Performance Test Engineer to evaluate battery life, power consumption, thermal behavior, and system performance across Android-based embedded devices.
Responsibilities
- Execute power characterization and performance testing on battery-powered devices
- Measure and analyze power consumption, battery life, thermal behavior, and system performance
- Troubleshoot power-related issues and identify performance bottlenecks
- Utilize Android tools including Perfetto, Bugreports, and Battery Historian
- Partner with software engineers to investigate regressions and improve system efficiency
- Create test plans, execute validation efforts, and document findings
- Support testing of wearable, mobile, and embedded products
Requirements
- Experience performing power measurements on battery-powered embedded devices
- Android performance or system-level testing experience
- Experience with wearables, mobile devices, IoT products, or embedded systems
- Familiarity with Perfetto, Bugreports, Battery Historian, or similar tools
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
