Location: Fountain Valley, CA
Compensation: $90,000-$135,000+ (Depends on Experience)

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically strong Plumbing Engineer to join our client's growing team in Fountain Valley, CA. This is a hands-on design role focused on delivering engineering solutions for large commercial construction projects from concept through completion.
The ideal candidate thrives in a production-driven environment, enjoys solving complex engineering challenges, and has a track record of designing plumbing systems for sophisticated facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead plumbing system design from concept through construction documents
- Deliver high-volume, high-quality production work in a deadline-driven environment
- Develop and coordinate detailed Revit-based 3D models with multidisciplinary teams
- Perform system sizing, layout, and engineering calculations
- Select and specify plumbing equipment and collaborate directly with vendors and manufacturers
- Review and process submittals and technical documentation
- Coordinate closely with engineering, construction, and project management teams
- Support field operations, including troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Maintain professional communication with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial plumbing design experience
- Experience supporting projects such as:
- High-rise buildings
- Healthcare facilities
- Stadiums and arenas
- Educational facilities
- Data centers
- Large commercial developments
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a high-production environment
- Strong proficiency in Revit
- Working knowledge of plumbing codes and NFPA standards
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
