Personal Injury Attorney
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for representing clients in personal injury cases, providing expert legal advice, and striving to achieve favorable outcomes for our clients. This role requires strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of personal injury law, including wrongful death, insurance bad faith, and toxic tort cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in personal injury cases, including wrongful death and toxic tort.
- Conduct thorough investigations and legal research to build strong cases.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
- Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Advise clients on their rights and legal options.
- Maintain communication with clients and keep them informed of case progress.
- Attend court hearings and trials as necessary to advocate for clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven track record of successful case outcomes.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in California.
- 5+ years of experience in personal injury law, with a focus on wrongful death and insurance bad faith cases.
- Strong negotiation and litigation skills.
