Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Parts Quoting and Shipping Clerk to handle daily parts pricing, shipping logistics, and office support. If you are organized, good with computers, and like hands-on work with freight and shipping, this is a great opportunity to grow with an established global company. Full training on our computer systems will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Parts Quoting & Ordering
Price Checks: Call or email suppliers to get price quotes and delivery times for parts we need.
Data Entry: Enter customer orders and look up part details using our computer software (Epicor).
Tracking: Keep simple records of parts orders and shipments in Microsoft Excel.
Shipping & Warehouse
Packing & Crating: Box, crate, weigh, and get parts ready for shipping carriers.
Shipping Papers: Fill out shipping documents and handle paperwork, including international customs forms.
Scheduling: Call freight companies to schedule pickups and deliveries.
Office Support
Phones & Mail: Answer incoming phone calls, transfer them to the right person, and sort the daily mail.
Team Help: Assist the accounting department with invoice paperwork and help out with general office tasks as needed.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Baisc Microsoft suite skills (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Ability to lift packages, stand, and handle warehouse shipping tasks
Strong communication skills for speaking with vendors and delivery drivers
ERP experience (we use Epicor and provide training)
International shipping and associated documentation
