Job Title: Paralegal - Personal Injury (P.I.) Litigation Firm
Location: Orlando, FL location
Compensation: $55k-$75k /yr DOE + Comprehensive benefits package
Requirements: 2+ years of Litigation paralegal exp, ability to manage high-volume case loads, knowledge of FL court proceedings, Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
Position Overview
Join a growing and highly respected Florida-based plaintiff litigation firm that has built its reputation on delivering exceptional results and client service. We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys throughout all phases of the litigation process in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage litigation files from filing through resolution
- Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and correspondence
- Coordinate hearings, depositions, mediations, and case deadlines
- Assist with trial preparation, exhibits, and document management
- Communicate effectively with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Maintain accurate case records and calendaring systems
Qualifications
- Paralegal certification, associate degree in paralegal studies, or equivalent legal experience.
- 2+ years of litigation/paralegal experience, preferably in personal injury litigation.
- Knowledge of Florida court procedures and e-filing
- Strong legal writing, proofreading, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat/PDF editing.
- Experience with case management and practice management software (examples: Clio, MyCase, PracticePanther) and document management systems.
- Experience with court procedures, e-filing portals, courtMAP, and accessibility tools (JAWS) is a plus.
