Job description
Established Regional Civil Defense Firm Seeking Paralegal
A well-established regional civil defense litigation firm with over 100 attorneys across 13 offices throughout the Mid-Atlantic is seeking a Paralegal to join one of their offices. This is a newly created position supporting 2-3 attorneys in a fast-paced general liability and workers' compensation defense practice. This role is strictly in-office and offers the opportunity to grow within a collaborative and highly regarded litigation team.
Offer:
$60,000 - $85,000 base salary, contingent on experience

Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of in-office paralegal experience in general liability or workers' compensation defense (2+ years preferred)
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, or equivalent certification preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (required)
iManage experience a plus
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage competing deadlines in a high-volume litigation environment
Responsibilities:
Providing paralegal support to 2-3 attorneys across GL and WC matters
Managing case files, pleadings, correspondence, and document organization
Assisting with discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories and document requests
Drafting, proofreading, and filing legal documents and correspondence
Coordinating with clients, courts, and opposing counsel as needed
