Supply-Chain Planner/Coordinator - Inventory Management, S&OP, Vendors
- Location: Northern MS ( Southaven, Olive Branch, Byhalia MS area)
- Job Type: Work is ONSITE, sorry, no remote/hybrid/offsite options available
We are seeking an experienced Supply Planning professional who can quickly integrate into a fast-paced environment and make an immediate impact with minimal ramp-up time. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in supply planning, inventory optimization, and cross-functional supply chain execution within a complex, high-SKU environment.
The successful candidate will have a proven record of managing planning complexity, leading supply planning activities, participating in S&OP processes, and supporting aftermarket operations. Candidates with direct experience in automotive aftermarket supply chains, SAP planning environments, and large SKU portfolios will be particularly well aligned with the needs of this role.
Required Experience
- Proven experience leading Supply Planning activities in a manufacturing, distribution, or automotive environment.
- Demonstrated success managing a large and complex SKU portfolio, balancing inventory investment, service levels, forecast variability, and supply constraints.
- Strong background in production planning, inventory management, MRP, demand planning, and replenishment planning.
- Active participation in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes, collaborating with Demand Planning, Operations, Procurement, Sales, and Customer Service teams.
- Experience supporting aftermarket/service parts planning, including inventory optimization, forecasting, and fulfillment strategies.
- Strong understanding of planning concepts within advanced planning environments and ERP systems.
- Proven ability to coordinate across Purchasing, Production, Warehouse, Logistics, and Customer Service teams to ensure supply continuity and operational excellence.
- Ability to analyze data, identify risks, and make informed decisions in a dynamic supply chain environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP planning and ERP solutions, including ECC, S/4HANA, APO, IBP, or related platforms.
- Experience in the Automotive Industry, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked within the Aftermarket business.
- Experience operating in a high-SKU, multi-site, and highly matrixed organization.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence across functions.
- Demonstrated track record of driving process improvements and enhancing supply planning performance metrics.
