Position Overview
We are seeking a results-oriented Marketing / Google Ads Specialist to manage, optimize, and scale paid search campaigns across Google Ads. The role focuses on driving measurable performance conversions, revenue, and ROAS through strategic campaign setup, continuous optimization, and data-driven testing. The Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align paid search activity with broader marketing goals and deliver clear reporting on performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and manage Google Ads campaigns across Search, Display, Shopping, and Performance Max to meet acquisition and revenue targets.
- Conduct keyword research and develop targeted keyword lists and match-type strategies for paid search campaigns.
- Set up campaign structures, ad groups, responsive search ads, and shopping feeds; implement audience targeting and remarketing lists.
- Monitor daily campaign performance and adjust bids, budgets, and targeting to optimize for CPA, ROAS, and other KPIs.
- Run A/B tests on creative, ad copy, bidding strategies, and landing pages to improve conversion rates and efficiency.
- Implement and maintain conversion tracking, tag management, and integrations with analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics/GA4).
- Prepare regular performance reports and actionable insights for stakeholders; translate data into optimization plans and forecast performance.
- Collaborate with creative, content, and analytics teams to develop landing pages, ad assets, and measurement frameworks.
- Stay current with platform updates, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve paid search performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing Google Ads and paid search campaigns, with demonstrable performance improvements (2+ years preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of campaign setup, bidding strategies, budget management, and optimization for Search and Display. (Required: Google Ads, Paid Search, Campaigns).
- Skilled in keyword research, ad copywriting, and structuring campaigns that scale while controlling CPA/ROAS.
- Experience implementing and troubleshooting conversion tracking, Google Tag Manager, and GA4 reporting.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Google Sheets, Looker Studio or similar).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present optimization recommendations to stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously.
- Nice to have: experience with Google AdWords interface/legacy features, Performance Max, Shopping campaigns and product feed management, advanced Shopping strategies, Search and Display network specialization, and deeper keyword research/segmentation experience.
