Marketing Technology Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking a Marketing Technology Manager to own and evolve our marketing technology stack, analytics, and data integrations to drive personalized customer experiences and measurable growth. This role partners with marketing, product, and engineering teams to implement tracking and tag governance, manage marketing automation and CRM platforms, lead A/B testing and personalization programs, and deliver actionable BI and attribution insights while ensuring privacy and deliverability best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the martech strategy and roadmap to support acquisition, engagement, retention, and measurement goals.
- Administer and optimize marketing platforms including marketing automation (HubSpot, Pardot, Eloqua), CRM and Marketing Cloud (Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud), CDPs (Segment, RudderStack), and DMPs.
- Own analytics, tracking and tag management: implement and govern Google Analytics (GA4), Adobe Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Tealium, tracking plans, pixel/event tracking, and server-side tracking solutions.
- Design and manage integrations and data pipelines (APIs/REST, ETL) between systems to ensure clean, timely, and privacy-compliant data flow to BI and reporting tools.
- Lead experimentation and personalization programs using A/B testing and personalization tools (Optimizely, VWO, Adobe Target); collaborate with UX and product teams on CRO initiatives.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to measure performance, attribution, and ROI across channels.
- Manage email marketing, deliverability, and authentication best practices including SMTP, SPF, DKIM, list hygiene, and suppression handling.
- Oversee paid media tracking and support SEM/SEO efforts and ad platforms (Google Ads, Meta/Facebook Ads Manager) to ensure proper tagging and attribution.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing marketing technology, analytics, or marketing operations in a B2B or B2C environment.
- Demonstrable experience with analytics and tag management: GA4, Adobe Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Tealium.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Pardot, Eloqua) and CRM/Marketing Cloud (Salesforce and Marketing Cloud).
- Experience with A/B testing and personalization platforms (Optimizely, VWO, Adobe Target) and CRO methodologies.
- Proven ability to build dashboards and reports in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Knowledge of email deliverability, SMTP, SPF, DKIM and best practices for large-scale email programs.
- Familiarity with paid media platforms, SEO/SEM fundamentals, Google Ads, and Meta/Facebook Ads Manager.
- Excellent project management skills, experience with Agile tools (Jira), and ability to manage cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred certifications: Google Analytics (GA4), Salesforce, Adobe, HubSpot, or relevant technical/analytics certifications.
