Starting Salary: $140,000 - $205,000

I'm partnering with a well-established and highly respected law firm seeking a Litigation Attorney with 4 to 8 years of experience to join its growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys managing cases from inception through resolution while working with sophisticated clients and a collaborative legal team.
 

The Opportunity

This role offers meaningful courtroom and advocacy experience, along with the opportunity to take ownership of complex civil litigation matters. The firm provides a clear path for long-term career growth, including advancement opportunities to shareholder or of counsel status.
The practice focuses primarily on real estate-related matters, including construction disputes, creditors' rights, estate planning, and probate-related litigation.
 

What You'll Do

  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court filings
  • Manage all phases of discovery, including written discovery requests and responses
  • Conduct factual investigations and interview clients and witnesses
  • Take and defend depositions
  • Appear in court and represent clients in hearings
  • Work closely with expert witnesses
  • Participate in mediations and settlement negotiations
  • Handle trial and arbitration preparation and attendance
  • Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to develop litigation strategies

What We're Looking For

  • 4 to 8 years of civil litigation experience
  • First- or second-chair experience handling complex litigation matters
  • Demonstrated experience with pleadings, discovery, motion practice, ADR proceedings, and trials or arbitrations
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal communication and client-facing abilities
  • Proven track record of producing high-quality work product
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
