HVAC Service Technician
Location: Daytona Beach, FL
Schedule: Full-Time
Compensation: $30-$47/hour, depending on experience
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join a growing commercial HVAC team serving customers throughout the Daytona Beach area. This role is focused on diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC systems while delivering exceptional customer service.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong technical knowledge, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently in the field.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
- Service rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, package units, heat pumps, and related equipment
- Identify system deficiencies and recommend appropriate repairs
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer specifications
- Complete service reports and documentation accurately and on time
- Communicate findings and repair recommendations to customers and management
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
- Participate in an on-call rotation as needed
Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial HVAC service experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Experience servicing RTUs, package units, split systems, and commercial HVAC equipment
- EPA Certification required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and customer service skills
