Job description

Hardware & Digital Design Engineer

Senior Electrical Engineer - Hardware Design (Relocation Available)

Greenville, SC (Hybrid)

Full-Time | Advanced Product Development | Hands-On Design

Why This Role is Worth Exploring

If you are a senior-level electrical engineer who enjoys owning designs end-to-end, not just reviewing or maintaining legacy systems, this is a rare opportunity to step into a high-impact, product-driven environment.

You will work on complex hardware systems, collaborate across disciplines, and help shape products from concept through production. The team values technical depth, ownership, and practical problem solving, not just theory.

  • Relocation assistance provided
  • Travel support for onsite interviews
  • Visible impact on real-world products
  • Strong stability and long-term career runway

What You Will Be Doing

You will take a lead role in designing and delivering electrical hardware solutions from the ground up:

  • Own full-cycle hardware development (concept to prototype to production)
  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
  • Design and document analog and digital circuits, schematics, and system architecture
  • Drive product development timelines and technical decisions
  • Define hardware and software interface requirements
  • Oversee testing, validation, and performance optimization
  • Troubleshoot product issues and recommend engineering improvements
  • Support manufacturing and help bring designs into production
  • Provide technical insight on customer applications when needed

What We Are Looking For

We are targeting engineers who can operate independently, think critically, and drive projects forward.

Core qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • About 8+ years of experience in electronic product design and development
  • Strong background in analog and digital circuit design
  • Experience with PCB design and full product lifecycle
  • Comfortable using lab tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, analyzers, etc.)
  • Able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality

Bonus if you bring:

  • Experience with complex systems or multi-disciplinary teams
  • Hands-on prototyping and troubleshooting experience
  • Exposure to tools like Altium or similar design platforms

Work Environment and Flexibility

  • Hybrid schedule (about 50 percent onsite)
  • Located in Greenville, SC, a fast-growing and highly livable market with strong quality of life
  • Minimal travel (about 5 percent)

Why Candidates Say Yes to This Role

This is not a narrow or siloed engineering position. You will:

  • Have real ownership over your designs
  • Work on meaningful and technically challenging projects
  • Be part of a team that values engineering input and execution
  • Join a company investing in long-term product innovation

Relocation and Interview Support

We understand this opportunity may involve a move.

  • Travel expenses covered for interviews
  • Relocation assistance available
  • We aim to make the process smooth, transparent, and respectful of your time
