Estate Planning Associate Attorney
This is an excellent opportunity for an estate planning attorney looking to deepen their expertise while working closely with high-net-worth individuals and families on sophisticated wealth transfer strategies. Key Responsibilities

  • Draft estate planning documents, including wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and related wealth transfer instruments.
  • Advise high-net-worth individuals and families on estate and succession planning strategies.
  • Assist with estate and trust administration matters, including probate-related proceedings.
  • Support the preparation and review of gift tax and estate tax filings.
  • Conduct legal research and provide analysis on estate planning, taxation, and trust-related issues.

Qualifications / Nice to Have

Must Have
  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Licensed and in good standing with the Illinois Bar.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in trusts and estates law.
  • Experience drafting estate planning documents for high-net-worth individuals and families.
  • Knowledge of federal and state estate, gift, and trust taxation.
Nice to Have
  • Experience administering estates and trusts.
  • Exposure to gift tax and estate tax return preparation.
  • Advanced estate planning and wealth transfer strategy experience.
  • Strong legal research and drafting capabilities.
