Project Manager - Data Center Construction
Location: Reno, Nevada (Relocation Assistance Available)
About the Opportunity
An established and rapidly growing construction organization is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale Data Center Construction projects. This role offers the opportunity to oversee complex, mission-critical facilities that support advanced technology infrastructure, including electrical systems, cooling solutions, power distribution, IT infrastructure, and security systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing electrical or mission-critical construction projects valued between $20M and $30M+, with responsibility for project execution, financial performance, scheduling, client relationships, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of data center construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate project activities, including labor, materials, procurement, subcontractors, and client communications.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, general contractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
- Oversee project budgets, forecasts, purchase orders, subcontracts, billings, and financial reporting.
- Review and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation and recovery plans when necessary.
- Coordinate project schedules with field operations, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure on-time execution.
- Monitor project progress and communicate updates through regular meetings and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements, company procedures, and contractual obligations.
- Support design-build project delivery and collaborate with engineering and design teams.
- Lead, mentor, and develop project teams while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
Qualifications
Required Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of project management or construction operations experience.
- At least 2 years of experience supporting Data Center, Mission Critical, or large-scale electrical construction projects.
- Proven experience managing projects in the $20M-$30M+ range.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, equipment, materials, and project delivery processes.
Technical Skills
- Experience managing electrical power systems, cooling infrastructure, power distribution, and critical facility construction projects.
- Strong understanding of estimating, budgeting, cost control, procurement, scheduling, and subcontract management.
- Proficiency with:
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Project management software
- Bluebeam
- Ability to analyze project risks and proactively resolve issues.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $150,000 - $190,000
