Job description
Electrical Assistant Project Manager
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL (100% Remote, but must be local to visit job sites)
We are seeking an Electrical Assistant Project Manager to support the successful delivery of complex electrical construction projects throughout the Fort Lauderdale area. This is a remote-based role; however, candidates must reside in the Fort Lauderdale market to regularly visit active job sites and support project teams.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Managers with planning, scheduling, budgeting, and project execution.
- Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
- Track project progress, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and procurement activities.
- Conduct site visits to ensure project quality, safety, and schedule compliance.
- Support multiple projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in electrical construction project management or project engineering.
- Experience with Cold Storage, Industrial, and Tilt-Wall construction projects strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction documents, and project controls.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel locally to job sites throughout South Florida.
