EHS Manager - Food Manufacturing

Environmental, Health & Safety EHS Manager

Location: Jonesboro, Arkansas
Compensation: $79,000 - $130,000 Base Salary + Bonus

We are seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety EHS Manager to lead safety culture transformation within a fast-paced food and beverage manufacturing environment. This is an opportunity to drive meaningful change, influence leaders at every level, and create a workplace where safety is owned by everyone.

In this highly visible leadership role, you will partner with site leadership, operations, quality, and production teams to develop and execute a proactive EHS strategy that protects employees, strengthens operational performance, and supports continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the vision, strategy, and execution of site-wide EHS programs
  • Drive a proactive safety culture through leadership, coaching, and accountability
  • Champion behavior-based safety initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
  • Develop and implement safety training, risk mitigation, and sustainability programs
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to site leadership on EHS strategy and performance
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning
  • Oversee industrial hygiene programs and evaluate new safety technologies
  • Partner cross-functionally to integrate safety into daily operational decisions
  • Manage OSHA compliance, recordkeeping, audits, and regulatory interactions
  • Lead safety committees and employee engagement initiatives that support long-term culture change

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field
  • 5+ years of EHS leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Food and beverage manufacturing experience required
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, workers' compensation, audits, and compliance programs
  • Experience developing and delivering safety training programs
  • Demonstrated success leading safety culture transformation initiatives
  • Proven ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of an organization
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and operational excellence initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

  • CSP Certified Safety Professional certification
  • Advanced degree in a related discipline
  • Industrial hygiene experience
  • Lean, TPM, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement experience
