Job description
Title: Director of Sales - Turbomachinery Controls & Rotating Equipment Systems
Location: Hybrid Remote
Salary: $130,000 - $200,000 + Bonus
Founded in the late 1970s, we are a U.S.-based engineering and manufacturing company specializing in turbine and compressor control systems, rotating machinery automation, and engineered retrofit solutions for critical turbomachinery assets. Our systems support refineries, power producers, pipeline operators, petrochemical plants, and industrial customers requiring high-reliability control and instrumentation solutions. We are seeking a Director of Sales with direct experience selling turbomachinery control systems, compressor station controls, and rotating equipment automation solutions. The ideal candidate has sold engineered control retrofits for turbines, compressors, and other rotating machinery, and brings strong technical credibility with turbomachinery, process, and controls engineers.
The role does not require the individual to be onsite every day. Onsite presence will be based on business needs and leadership expectations. There will be a meaningful onsite component during the initial onboarding and training period. It is important for the individual to spend time with our Engineering and R&D teams, develop a strong understanding of our products and technical capabilities, and build the internal relationships needed to effectively represent and sell our solutions.
What You Will Be Doing
- Develop and execute sales strategies for turbomachinery control systems, compressor controls, and rotating equipment retrofit solutions
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities involving turbine and compressor control upgrades, modernization projects, and engineered control packages
- Build and maintain strong relationships with refineries, pipeline operators, power plants, petrochemical facilities, and EPCs
- Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to ensure high performance and technical excellence
- Oversee sales pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and reporting for engineered control system projects
What You Need for This Position
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a technical discipline (Electrical preferred)
- 5+ years of experience selling turbomachinery control systems, compressor station controls, or rotating equipment automation solutions
- Experience selling Woodward, CCC, GE Mark VIe, Siemens, Triconex, or similar control platforms
- Proven track record selling engineered retrofit solutions for turbines, compressors, or rotating machinery
- Strong technical understanding of control systems, instrumentation, and rotating equipment dynamics
- Leadership experience managing sales teams or technical commercial organizations
What's In It for You
Full Benefits Package (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, LTD/STD, 401k w/ matching) and more!
