Mid-Level Trade Remedies & Customs Associate (Hybrid or Remote - Washington, D.C.)
Are you a mid-level international trade attorney tired of the rigid billable-hour grind and high-pressure corporate politics? A premier boutique international trade law firm based in Washington, D.C. is seeking a Trade Remedies & Customs Associate (ideally 3+ years of experience) to join its highly collaborative team.
This firm operates differently: there are no billable hour requirement. The focus is entirely on delivering high-quality client results, fostering team collaboration, and ensuring attorneys enjoy true work-life balance.
What You Will Do
Handle a dynamic blend of trade remedies litigation/administrative matters alongside hands-on, operational customs work (CF28s, protests, entry classifications, valuation).
Advise respondent-side importers, trade associations, and corporate clients across industries such as solar, chemicals, metals, building materials, and home furnishings.
Work directly alongside partners and senior associates in a tight-knit, open-door environment.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Ideally 3+ years of experience in trade remedies and operational customs compliance/enforcement.
Skillsets: Strong foundation in trade remedies coupled with practical, "nitty-gritty" customs execution (CF28 responses, classification, valuation).
Attributes: Pragmatic problem solver, strong analytical legal writer, and a collaborative team player.
