My client is hiring for their Los Angeles and Orange County offices. This position is hybrid, requiring at least two days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, depositions, arbitrations, mediations, trial preparation, and trial.
• Serve as relationship partner and trusted advisor for clients involved in high-stakes business disputes.
• Oversee litigation teams and provide strategic guidance on all phases of case management.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies for complex commercial, business, and civil litigation matters.
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups to identify and expand client service opportunities.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and the continued growth of the firm's litigation practice.

Qualifications / Nice to Have

Must Have

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Significant commercial, business, or complex civil litigation experience.
• Demonstrated California litigation experience, including extensive practice in California state courts.
• Experience handling sophisticated litigation matters through discovery, motion practice, depositions, and court appearances.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage client relationships and litigation matters.
• Portable book of business.

Nice to Have

• Significant experience with arbitration and mediation proceedings.
• Experience handling disputes involving professional liability, construction, real estate, insurance, or related business matters.
• Existing relationships with referral sources and business communities throughout California.
• Interest in mentoring junior attorneys and helping expand a growing litigation practice.
