Application Developer
Position Overview
We are seeking an Application Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable, highquality software solutions. The role focuses on developing server-side and integration components using C#, participating in an Agile environment, and supporting endtoend delivery through Git and Azure DevOps pipelines. The successful candidate will collaborate with product owners, QA, and operations to deliver features, improve performance, and ensure application reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain application components and services using C# and related .NET technologies.
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, QA, and operations in an Agile team to plan and deliver increments of work (sprints).
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to automate builds, tests, and deployments.
- Use Git for version control: branch, merge, resolve conflicts, and participate in pull request/code review processes.
- Build and consume APIs (REST and GraphGL-based APIs), and design integration points with third-party services.
- Write unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure code quality and reduce regressions.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues; perform performance tuning and optimization.
- Document designs, implementation details, runbooks, and handover materials to support maintainability and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in architecture and design discussions, contributing ideas for scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and help enforce coding standards and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of professional experience in application development, with strong handson experience in C# and the .NET ecosystem.
- Proven experience working in an Agile environment and participating in sprint ceremonies (planning, standups, retrospectives).
- Solid experience with Git for version control and collaboration workflows (feature branches, PRs).
- Experience configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps (build/release pipelines, artifacts).
- Familiarity with GraphGL (and related graph API concepts) and experience designing or consuming APIs; experience with REST APIs is also required.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests with common testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit, NUnit, MSTest).
- Knowledge of cloud services and deployment patterns, particularly Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, Storage, etc.).
- Strong problemsolving skills, attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Preferred: experience with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), frontend frameworks, and relevant certifications (Microsoft/Azure).
