Job description
We're partnering with an innovative technology organization developing next-generation consumer hardware products. We're seeking a highly organized Lab Operations Coordinator to support day-to-day operations within a fast-paced audio hardware development environment. This role is critical to keeping engineering teams productive by managing equipment, prototypes, inventory, shipments, vendor coordination, and lab operations.
What You'll Do
- Manage tracking and checkout of engineering equipment and test assets
- Coordinate incoming deliveries and distribute materials to engineering teams
- Monitor lab inventory, tools, and consumables and maintain stock levels
- Coordinate shipment of equipment and prototypes to remote teams
- Schedule and manage equipment calibration with vendors
- Track prototype hardware and benchmarking units throughout testing cycles
- Support engineering teams with test setups, demos, and prototype logistics
- Maintain lab organization, cleanliness, and proper handling of confidential prototype hardware
- Coordinate vendor access and documentation for onsite visits
What We're Looking For
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Experience managing inventory, assets, equipment, or lab operations
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Ability to support multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, hardware, or laboratory environments is highly preferred
