Established (30+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking Attorney for Estate Planning, Trusts & Probate in Tampa, FL
An established firm based in Tampa, FL with over 30 years in practice is seeking a 6+ year Estate Planning Attorney to join their team onsite. This role calls for a highly self-sufficient attorney with demonstrated experience handling wills, trusts, revocable and irrevocable trust structures, probate administration, asset protection planning, and estate tax planning matters independently. Given the firm's sophisticated client base, the ideal candidate will have trained at a larger firm, hold strong academic credentials, and bring either a portable book of business or meaningful crossover experience in corporate, real estate, or tax matters.

Salary range: $160,000-$220,000+, contingent on experience

Qualifications:
Active membership in the Florida Bar in good standing
6+ years of experience handling estate planning, trust, and probate matters at a sophisticated level, ideally gained at a larger or regional firm
Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school
Demonstrated ability to manage a full estate planning practice independently, without the need for day-to-day supervision
Either a portable book of business or relevant crossover experience in corporate, real estate, or tax matters
Experience drafting wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, advance directives, and related planning documents
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to advise clients at a high level
Responsibilities:
Draft and oversee comprehensive estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives
Advise clients independently on estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning strategies
Manage probate and trust administration matters from inception through resolution without supervision
Collaborate with attorneys across corporate, real estate, and tax practice groups on integrated planning matters
Maintain direct, ongoing client relationships and provide sophisticated advisory support as client needs evolve
Contribute to the growth of the firm's estate planning practice, including developing and expanding client relationships
