An established law firm with over 40 years in practice is seeking a Workers' Compensation Associate with 2+ years of litigation experience to join its team in a hybrid capacity in Alpharetta, GA. This role will handle workers' compensation defense matters, including motion practice, hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials, while managing client relationships and an active caseload with appropriate supervision.

Salary range: $95,000-$135,000+, contingent on experience

Qualifications
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
Active Georgia Bar license in good standing
2+ years of relevant litigation experience, with judicial clerkship experience also considered
Workers' compensation defense experience preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and electronic document management software preferred
Strong legal research, writing, communication, organizational, and time management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Self-motivated approach with sound judgment and strong attention to detail
Active Georgia Bar license in good standing
2+ years of relevant litigation experience, with judicial clerkship experience also considered
Workers' compensation defense experience preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and electronic document management software preferred
Strong legal research, writing, communication, organizational, and time management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

Maintain required billable hours and accurate timekeeping records
Manage client relationships and an assigned caseload with supervision
Assist with motion practice, conferences, mediations, trial preparation, and trials as needed
Provide timely case updates and practical legal guidance to clients
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, agreements, and other legal documents
Represent clients at court hearings, depositions, mediations, conferences, and other proceedings
