Established (40+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking Associate Attorney for Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation in Chicago, IL

 

An established firm based in Chicago, IL with over 40 years in practice is seeking an Associate Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join their team onsite. Nationally recognized for plaintiff-side representation in catastrophic personal injury, medical malpractice, transportation disaster, and wrongful death litigation, this firm offers exceptional exposure to high-stakes trial practice and meaningful opportunities for business development.

 

Offer:

Salary range: $110,000-$135,000+, contingent on experience

Qualifications:

5+ years of plaintiff litigation experience, with a focus on catastrophic injury, medical malpractice, transportation disasters, or wrongful death matters

Active Illinois law license in good standing

Membership in the Northern District of Illinois Bar and Trial Bar

Strong deposition-taking, legal writing, and analytical skills

Commitment to delivering exceptional client service as a top priority

 

Responsibilities:

Handle cases involving catastrophic injuries across state and federal court, including medical malpractice, transportation disasters, and wrongful death matters

Take depositions of parties, witnesses, and expert witnesses

Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents

Manage client relationships with a focus on responsiveness and service

Participate in trial preparation and courtroom proceedings

Pursue business development opportunities in alignment with firm growth goals
