Job description
A nationally recognized law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its San Francisco office. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven attorney to work on sophisticated matters, gain meaningful client exposure, and grow within a collaborative, high-performing legal team.
Position Overview
The Associate Attorney will support partners and senior attorneys on a variety of complex matters. Responsibilities will be tailored to the associate's experience level and practice focus, offering hands-on experience and strong mentorship in a collegial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent and advise clients across a range of legal matters
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Assist with case strategy and analysis
- Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and court appearances, as appropriate
- Manage multiple matters efficiently while meeting deadlines
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to deliver high-quality client service
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active membership in good standing with the California Bar
- 2-6 years of relevant legal experience (practice-area experience a plus)
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong commitment to client service and professional excellence

$150000 - $210000 USD per year
