Title: Assistant Sales Manager & Program Manager
Location: Cupertino, CA
Compensation: $95K-$110K + up to 35% bonus (OTE: $128K-$148K)

Position Overview
The Assistant Sales Manager & Program Manager supports the sales organization by driving business development, strengthening customer relationships, and helping manage key automotive accounts for interconnects and connector products. This role partners with account teams, product management and engineering to grow revenue, improve customer satisfaction, and execute sales strategies for both existing and new markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop overall business strategy and tactical plans for achieving account business objectives.
- Create and administer individual objectives/sales plans for each sales division.
- Oversee compensation and incentive plans for employees if applicable.
- Meet customers and prospects in conjunction with staff to promote products and technology.
- Responsible for providing formal sales analysis, forecasting and budget creation.
- Prepare Tesla status reports for executive management on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
- Facilitate the interface between sales, marketing, engineering, design and
manufacturing groups within company regarding the development of new products. - Authorize within specified guidelines identified by policy, price, and terms for customers on both standard and custom products and tooling/engineering costs.
- Oversee the Tesla Sales Group activities including: a.) Independent Rep Firm hiring or termination, and/or b.) direct sales engineers hiring or termination, and/or c.) Distribution hiring or termination.
- Administer performance reviews for direct reports if applicable.
- Attend industry trade shows and / or functions.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of sales or account management experience, preferably in interconnects, connectors, or related electronic/hardware components.
- Proven experience in business development, account management, or as an account executive with measurable revenue growth.
- Technical familiarity with interconnect technologies, connector families, and related applications, or the ability to quickly learn technical product details.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills a natural connector who can cultivate and expand customer and channel partnerships.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills and experience closing B2B sales contracts.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), Microsoft Office, and sales forecasting tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% for customer visits, trade shows, and field support.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
