Associate Project Manager - Development, Affordable Housing

Position Overview
We are seeking an Associate Project Manager to support the development of affordable housing projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various stages of the development process, from financing and design to construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the project budget and financing, including securing funding and managing cash flow
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure successful completion of project design and construction
  • Perform site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications
  • Prepare reports and presentations for project stakeholders, including investors, government officials, and community members
  • Collaborate with project team members to identify and resolve issues that arise during the development process

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in development/project management, preferably in affordable housing 
  • Strong knowledge of project development, financing, design, and construction processes
  • Experience with project scheduling and budget management software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Nice to have: Knowledge of affordable housing regulations and policies
