- Produce detailed construction documentation and specifications following firm standards and project schedules.
- Model and document projects in Revit, manage BIM content, maintain templates and enforce CAD/BIM standards.
- Serve as Job Captain or lead small project teams: coordinate tasks, review deliverables, and mentor junior staff.
- Coordinate with consultants (structural, MEP, landscape, civil) to integrate systems and ensure constructability and code compliance.
- Perform zoning and building code analysis, prepare code narratives, and incorporate accessibility (ADA) requirements into design solutions.
- Prepare client presentations, design narratives, permit submittals, and materials/finishes boards.
- Participate in site visits, construction administration, and coordination with contractors during bidding and construction phases.
- Conduct quality assurance/quality control reviews on drawings and specifications to maintain accuracy and consistency.
- Manage project schedules and deliverables, track milestones, and communicate progress to project managers and clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture or equivalent professional education.
- 3+ years of professional experience on multifamily, mixed-use, or residential projects; experience with affordable housing and student housing strongly preferred.
