Job Title: Account Executive - Freight Brokerage Sales

Location:100% Remote, CST or EST mid size cities or larger

Salary:$65k-$80k with bonus potential based on company performance and individual performance

Position Overview: The Account Manager is responsible for developing and managing customer accounts, utilizing a consultative approach to identify opportunities to add value and provide solutions for our customers. This professional will need to have an in-depth knowledge of freight forwarding, logistics, and the related industry as well as excellent sales skills and the ability to develop and maintain customer relationships. The Account Manager will need to have the ability to think strategically and work with a high degree of detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage relationships with customers to ensure ongoing growth and loyalty
• Conduct sales meetings and presentations to potential and existing customers
• Gather customer feedback and recommend process improvements
• Analyze customer requirements and create solutions to meet their needs
• Leverage internal resources to provide the best customer experience and solutions
• Utilize CRM tools to track customer interactions and provide sales forecasts
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms to maximize profit
• Keep abreast of industry trends and changes to ensure the company is competitive
• Stay up to date on new products and services and educate customers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, sales, account management, business development, or related field
• Experience in enterprise sales, freight brokerage, LTL trucking, 3PL, or white glove delivery
• Experience with air, land, and sea freight
• Experience negotiating pricing and contract terms
• Knowledge of CRM tools and software
