Job description
Cunningham Children’s Home is seeking a Housekeeper to support the cleanliness and daily operations of our campus! This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across agency facilities while supporting laundry services as needed.
Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in Cunningham Children’s Home buildings on and off the main campus according to established schedules and quality standards
- Operate cleaning equipment including floor scrubbers, buffers, carpet extractors, and vacuums
- Complete specialty cleaning tasks such as carpet extraction, spray buffing, and stripping/waxing floors
- Maintain adequate cleaning supply levels in designated areas
- Support laundry operations using commercial washers and dryers when needed
- Follow all agency safety procedures and maintain confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- General knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment preferred
- Ability to operate equipment such as buffers and carpet extractors
- Basic English fluency required
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Valid driver’s license required
Physical Requirements
- Frequent walking, bending, and reaching
- Ability to lift and carry up to 44–60 lbs
- Use of cleaning equipment and exposure to cleaning chemicals
- Occasional outdoor work and operation of agency vehicles
