Job description

Are you an accomplished sales leader in the K-12 education sector, poised to drive over $2M in annual revenue by promoting the most impactful educational intervention available? This role isn't about selling just another tool—it's about forging multi-million dollar partnerships that empower students to excel through groundbreaking AI technology.

Join our dynamic startup, operating in stealth mode, as we revolutionize K-12 education with personalized learning solutions that yield extraordinary results. As we rapidly expand into public school districts, we seek exceptional sales leaders with strong connections to district decision-makers and expertise in navigating complex procurement landscapes. You'll be entrusted with complete control over your territory, supported by compelling evidence that our AI-driven platform helps struggling students catch up while challenging advanced learners to excel—making it an ideal fit for districts aiming to enhance student outcomes across the board.

We are looking for high achievers with strong ties to Texas or California school districts who thrive in autonomous environments and are driven by the opportunity to fundamentally transform how students learn. This is your chance to build something remarkable with the agility of a startup and the credibility of proven results.

If you're ready to close substantial deals that reshape education while crafting your own success story, we want to connect with you.

What you will be doing

  • Develop and sustain a $10M+ sales pipeline by identifying and engaging high-potential school districts, establishing connections with decision-makers, and advancing opportunities through defined sales stages.
  • Create customized proposals and expertly navigate procurement processes to secure contracts worth six and seven figures.
  • Conduct discovery meetings to gain a deep understanding of district challenges and objectives, and then develop compelling solutions that deliver measurable results.
  • Oversee all facets of complex sales cycles, from prospecting to closing, with complete ownership of your territory strategy and outcomes.
  • Utilize your existing relationships and networks within public school districts to expedite adoption.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Adhering to rigid scripts or processes—enjoy the freedom to devise your territory strategy.
  • Promoting "nice to have" supplemental products—this is a transformative solution with significant impact.
  • Being burdened by bureaucracy—our nimble startup is focused on achieving results.
  • Micromanaging daily tasks—you'll be in control of your outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Champion the adoption of our innovative learning solution within public school districts, securing multi-year partnerships that drive large-scale educational transformation.

Candidate Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience managing complex K-12 sales cycles and successfully closing deals worth $100K or more.
  • A robust network of relationships with district decision-makers in Texas or California.
  • Proven expertise in navigating public school procurement processes, including RFPs/RFIs.
  • Track record of maintaining a $10M+ sales pipeline and consistently achieving revenue targets.
  • Demonstrated success working independently and managing the full sales cycle.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and sales technology platforms.
  • Must reside in or within 2 hours of Texas or California.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region (up to 80%).
  • Eligibility to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
