Summary


Hours: 9a-12p or 1p-4p

Estimated 12-14 hours per week

  1. *Commits to the KRMC mission, vision, values and goals and consistently demonstrates our core values.

  1. *Schedules appointments and coordinates meeting activities to include coordinating schedules, reserving appropriate meeting space, inviting attendees, ensuring adequate room set-up, coordinating food and refreshments, and providing associated meeting materials and support.

  1. *Tracks and collects data from various internal sources and prepares reports. 

  1. May plan and arrange travel for scheduled conferences.

  1. *Generates meeting agendas, takes meeting minutes, maintains records of meetings, and notifies participants of required follow up as needed/requested.

  1. Provides phone coverage for the department(s); screens phone calls and relays messages in a timely fashion and responds to callers as appropriate.

  1. *Types memorandums, correspondence, department emails, policies and procedures, forms, and other monthly and quarterly reports; may type highly sensitive materials requiring a high degree of confidentiality.

  1. Sorts and routes incoming department mail; delivers outgoing department mail.

  1. Maintains departmental files including employee files; tracks required licensure, testing or related documentation. 

  1. May coordinate the distribution and processing of employee evaluations

  1. *Inventories, orders and coordinates office supply purchases and deliveries with appropriate departmental and supply personnel; orders forms as needed.

  1. Assumes personal responsibility for development, practice, and education. Maintains an organized and safe work environment.

  1. Compiles, organizes, and processes information for the department.

  1. *Communicates and cooperates with all levels of personnel.

  1. Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent required.  Completion of a two (2)-year business school training program focusing on personal computers and general business machines preferred.  Two (2) years of experience in an administrative support role required.  Prior experience in a comparable position in a hospital setting preferred.
