Who This Role Is For

• A Doctor of Pharmacy with 2-3 years of preferred pharmacist experience.
• Licensed Pharmacist in Massachusetts with a strong understanding of state and federal regulations.

• Someone committed to continuous learning, maintaining 20 CE credits annually.
• An individual capable of assessing age-specific patient data and providing tailored care.

What You'll Do

• Optimize drug therapy by identifying, resolving, and preventing drug-related problems.
• Improve therapeutic outcomes for patients.
• Direct and coordinate pharmacy services and activities.
• Supervise and verify the accuracy of work completed by support personnel.
• Ensure compliance with target drug programs, formulary management, and medication initiatives.
• Document and report clinical interventions, medication errors, and adverse drug events.
• Participate in department quality improvement efforts.
• Prescribe medications under specific collaborative drug therapy management agreements (CDTM) if applicable.

What We're Looking For

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
• Required Pharmacist State License.
• Preferred Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration (MCSR).
• 2-3 years of experience working as a pharmacist (preferred).
• Extensive knowledge in IV Admixtures, Drug Information, Ambulatory, Manufacturing, and Drug Distribution.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of principles of growth and development across the life span (neonate to geriatric).
• Familiarity with pharmacy practice settings, legal requirements, and drug handling.
• Commitment to completing 20 continuing education credits annually.
