What You'll Do
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to physicians in their clinical, academic, research, and leadership roles.
- Manage telephone calls, greet visitors, and provide accurate information within scope of knowledge.
- Schedule patient appointments, coordinate ancillary services, and obtain necessary referrals.
- Maintain physician calendars and prepare various correspondence, manuscripts, and documents.
- Act as a liaison with other departments and external customers in a calm and supportive manner.
- Assist licensed practitioners by queuing prescription renewals and reviewing medication listings in the electronic medical record.
What We're Looking For
- High School diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of related administrative work experience.
- Proficiency with computer systems, including web-based applications and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
