Join Maryland Herb Company, a Maryland-based cannabis cultivation leader where small-team agility meets professional standards. We prioritize quality, compliance, and community—offering a hands-on role where your work directly shapes clean, safe, and consistent product for patients and adult consumers. As a Post Harvest Associate you’ll be an essential part of the cultivation lifecycle: executing drying, trimming, curing, bucking, sorting, and packaging tasks to company SOPs; performing quality checks and moisture/grading assessments; recording inventory and batch data in our seed-to-sale system; maintaining sanitation and GMP-level cleanliness in post-harvest areas; and supporting continuous improvement during peak cycles. This role is hourly/frontline and ideal for detail-oriented, physical team players who want to grow with a mission-driven Maryland company.

Salary

$19 USD per hour

Required Skills

- Candidate must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to pass required pre-employment background screening and any state-mandated checks
- Prior experience in post-harvest cannabis processing, trimming, or packaging, or demonstrable manual dexterity and willingness to be trained
- Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently follow SOPs, batch records, and quality checklists
- Comfortable standing, bending, and performing repetitive hand tasks for extended shifts; able to lift up to 50 lbs safely
- Basic data entry skills and comfort using handheld scanners, tablets, or computers to log inventory and batch information
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and the ability to work flexible hours including possible weekend or peak-period shifts
- Good communication and teamwork skills; ability to take direction and work under supervision
- Commitment to workplace safety, cleanliness, and sanitation procedures (PPE use, tool cleaning, waste handling)

Desired Skills

- Fast and accurate trimming skills with consistent speed and quality metrics
