Job description

As the Director of Compliance, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our retail team and operations teams align with the ever-evolving regulatory landscape of the cannabis industry. You will lead our compliance initiatives, working closely with our legal team and state regulator partners to uphold our commitment to authenticity and community. Your key responsibilities will include developing and implementing compliance strategies, overseeing regulatory audits, and fostering a culture of compliance across the organization. Salary

$115000 - $130000 USD per year

Required Skills

- Demonstrated experience overseeing retail and operational compliance in the cannabis industry
- Proven experience in compliance within the cannabis or regulated industries
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local cannabis regulations
- Excellent team development and leadership abilities
- Ability to develop and implement compliance programs and policies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in conducting compliance audits and assessments
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams  



Desired Skills

- Advanced degree in law, business, or a related field
- Certification in compliance (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional)
- Familiarity with cannabis industry best practices and standards
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a cannabis company
- Knowledge of emerging trends and changes in cannabis legislation
- Strong network within the cannabis regulatory community
