Position Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Delivery & Sustainment Quality Representative to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. In this role, you will ensure the highest quality standards across product delivery, maintenance, and sustainment activities within an operational and shipyard environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee product quality during delivery, maintenance, and modification processes.
- Ensure full compliance with industry standards, customer regulations, and internal specifications.
- Apply diagnostic and condition-based maintenance techniques to assess quality performance.
- Oversee contractual compliance with company and third-party operations.
- Perform final product acceptance reviews and non-conformance investigations, ensuring effective root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Conduct process audits and assessments to identify areas of improvement and support lean initiatives to reduce waste and enhance productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain, and sustainment groups to maintain and improve quality standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma (or equivalent experience) with additional specialized training or demonstrated competency in related tasks.
- 3+ year of experience in quality assurance, inspection, or sustainment roles.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and performance metrics.
- Security clearance eligibility and minimal travel requirements.
Desired Skills:
- Basic understanding of audit techniques and use of inspection tools.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and root cause analysis tools.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including team collaboration and presentation capabilities.
- Experience working with government clients and knowledge of welding inspection processes is a plus.
