Job description

Description

Make a difference where it matters most.

As a Registered Nurse at The Recovery Village at Palmer Lake, you'll do more than provide clinical care-you'll be part of a team helping people take meaningful steps toward recovery and a healthier future.

Advanced Recovery Systems (ARS) is an integrated behavioral healthcare organization committed to transforming lives through comprehensive, evidence-based treatment. Our nurses play a vital role in creating safe, compassionate environments where patients feel supported, respected, and empowered throughout their recovery journey.

About Our Organization

This position supports one of the trusted behavioral health programs within the Advanced Recovery Systems family. Advanced Recovery Systems is the parent organization of The Recovery Village, Promises Behavioral Health, The Right Step, and The Ranch, bringing together established treatment brands with a shared commitment to expanding access to high-quality, evidence-based addiction and mental health care. While you may work primarily with a specific facility or brand, you will be part of a larger, growing organization focused on improving patient outcomes, supporting our employees, and strengthening the communities we serve.

At The Recovery Village at Palmer Lake, we believe people struggling with substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions can heal. Our accredited, 110-bed treatment facility provides a continuum of care in a safe and supportive environment, combining medical services, mental health counseling, and recreational therapies.

Located approximately 15 minutes from Colorado Springs and 60 miles from Denver, our scenic Palmer Lake campus provides a unique setting for both healing and professional connection.

As an RN, you'll build trusting relationships with patients while providing attentive, compassionate nursing care. Your clinical expertise, communication, and ability to see the person behind the diagnosis will make a meaningful difference every day.

What You'll Do

  • Provide safe, compassionate nursing care while assessing patients' medical and psychiatric needs.
  • Administer medications and monitor patients throughout the detoxification and treatment process.
  • Complete assessments, documentation, medical records, and required admission paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Implement physician orders and medical protocols and communicate changes in patient condition to the appropriate medical team.
  • Educate patients about medications, health conditions, treatment, and wellness.
  • Collaborate with physicians, clinical professionals, and internal and external healthcare resources.
  • Establish trust and rapport with patients and families while maintaining professional boundaries and a supportive therapeutic environment.
  • Provide routine nursing care in accordance with professional standards, licensure requirements, and direction from the Director of Nursing.

Schedule: 12-hour shifts. Applications are welcome for all shifts/hours.

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

  • Behavioral health, addiction treatment, psychiatric, or detoxification experience preferred.
